InBev's vice president of marketing in the UK has announced plans to leave the company and move back to the US in February.

The Belgium-based company said late last week that Devin Kelly, who has held a variety of posts with InBev over the last ten years, will leave the brewer "for personal reasons".

Kelly said: "I leave behind a great bunch of people and a great bunch of brands. It will be hard to beat this job which must be one of the most exciting marketing posts in the UK, but the lure of the US for me and my family was just too strong in the end."

InBev UK has said it plans to consider both internal and external candidates to replace Kelly and will start the search for a replacement marketing vice president immediately.
