ROMANIA: InBev launches Löwenbräu - report

Belgian brewer InBev is reportedly looking to boost its presence in the Romanian beer market with the launch of Löwenbräu.

InBev's local arm Interbrew Romania plans to sell the brand only in PET bottles, news agency SeeNews reported yesterday (5 April).

"Our intention is to cover, with one strong brand, about one third of the market, namely the segment of beer retailed in PET packaging," Interbrew Romania's general manager Mihai Ghyka said in a report.
