Heineken has made changes at its Bulgarian business Zagorka

Heineken's Bulgarian unit, Zagorka, has appointed a new marketing manager.

Radina Shkutova replaced Rumen Kolev in the post on 1 July, the brewer announced this week. Shkutova, who joined Zagorka as a junior brand manager in 2005, contributed to the "significant market growth" of the Bulgarian beer brand in 2012, Zagorka said.

Her predecessor, Kolev, took up the newly-created role of marketing & innovation manager for Heineken's Central & Eastern European business in May, a spokesperson told just-drinks.

Between 2007 and 2010, Kolev was strategic brand manager for Heineken's Russia unit, before returning to Zagorka as marketing manager. In his new role, he will continue to work out of Heineken's Amsterdam headquarters, the brewer said.

Earlier today, Heineken announced it has agreed terms to sell its Finnish unit Hartwall for EUR470m (US$613m)
