ITALY: Heineken continues regional push - report

Heineken's Italian unit has extended a deal to promote a northern region of the country, according to reports.
The agreement sees Heineken Italia continue to highlight the Valle d'Aosta region on its bottles and cans, ANSA news service said yesterday (20 June). The subsidiary has a brewery based in the region at Pollein, which employs 70 staff.
The brewer will now continue to promote Valle d'Aosta until 2009, with Heineken and the regional authorities prepared to consider renewing the deal after this date.
Also party to the agreement, ANSA noted, are local state-owned investment company Finaosta and Italian company Sima.
