US: Heaven Hill Distilleries releases Burnett's RTD cocktails
By just-drinks.com editorial team | 15 July 2009
Heaven Hill Distilleries has lined up the off-trade launch of a range of pre-mixed cocktails in the US.
The family-owned company, which is based in Bardstown, Kentucky, said earlier this week that Burnett's Cocktails will initially offer three variants - cosmopolitan, margarita and mojito. All three will have Burnett's vodka as their spirits bases.
"In-home entertaining and flavour experimentation are incredibly popular trends today, particularly as the economy draws consumers away from the on-premise," said senior brand manager Reid Hafer. "Consumers may now embrace the cocktail culture off-premise with this new range of cocktails."
The launch of Burnett's Cocktails, which are available in 1.75-litre PET and bottled at 15% abv, will be backed by point-of-sale materials, trade media advertising and mail-in rebates.
Sectors: Spirits
Companies: Heaven Hill
