AUS: Hardys partners with AFI for film awards
Hardys has teamed up with the Australian Film Institute in a two-year partnership for the L'Oréal Paris AFI Awards.
The Constellation-owned wine company said today (5 November) that the Australian awards ceremony, broadcast nationally on 6 December, will be hosted by actor Geoffrey Rush.
Hardys brand manager Nicky Gameau said: "Hardys wines continually deliver excellence, innovation, regionality and authenticity and these characteristics go hand in hand with the film industry's endeavours and achievements."
AFI CEO James Hewison added: "The blending of these two Australian brands is a perfect alignment. We are thrilled to welcome Hardys as one of our sponsors to the prestigious L'Oréal Paris 2007 AFI Awards."
The Hardys range of wines such as Thomas Hardy, Oomoo, Sir James and Nottage Hill are available in over 50 countries globally, including Australia, the UK, New Zealand, the US, Canada and Japan.
