FRANCE: H1 sales up 10.5% at Laurent-Perrier

The French Champagne house Laurent-Perrier has reported a 10.5% increase in sales for the first half of the year to EUR100.3m (US$128.2m).

The company, which is the largest family-owned Champagne brand, said that the Champagne market was still going "in the right direction", though there had been a slight slowdown in volumes in the second quarter.
