CHINA: Guangdong posts 6% rise in H1 net profit

The Chinese brewery, Guangdong Brewery Holdings Ltd, has reported a net profit for the first half of 2003 of HK$46.13m, up 6.1% from HK$43.49m in the first half of 2002.
