The Coca-Cola bottler Grupo Continental has estimated that it will make a 3.85% rise in 2003 sales volumes, according to a report by Reuters.

The Mexican company also expects about US$37m in capital expenditures this year.

It is estimated that Continental sold 350m unit cases in 2003, compared with 337m unit cases sold the previous year.

A financial advisor for the company said he expected total sales volume to increase 5.4% this, as new products were launched in the Mexican market.

Grupo Continental is the third largest Coke bottler in Mexico and the seventh largest in the world.
