The Polish government has invited bids for at least 51% of the spirits producer, Polmos Konin. The negotiations for the sell-off will centre on the share price and the proposed investment plans of the new prospective owners.

It is envisaged that the employees at Konin, located in central Poland, will retain a 15% share in the enterprise, while the government will retain a 5% interest. The deadline for the offer is November 4.
