UK: Gordon & MacPhail adds to Benromach Scotch stable
Gordon & MacPhail has unveiled a further addition to it Benromach whisky range.
The Scottish company announced late last week that Benromach Peat Smoke Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is now available in the UK.
"At Benromach we are always keen to experiment and try different things," said Ian Urquhart, managing director at Gordon & MacPhail. "Using small batches of malted barley, peated to our specialist requirements, we were keen to explore the impact of peating levels on Benromach."
Bottled at 46% abv, the Scotch will be available in a 70-cl bottle and silver tin, at a recommended retail price of between GBP24.99 (US$) and GBP26.99.
Benromach Peat Smoke joins the other expressions in the portfolio, which includes Benromach Traditional, Benromach Organic and Benromach 21yo. Earlier this year, Gordon & MacPhail unveiled Benromach Sassicaia Wood Finish, which is matured in Tuscan wine casks.
