UK: Global Brands revamps VK Kick range
By just-drinks.com editorial team | 12 March 2009
Global Brands has revamped its UK flagship RTD brand, VK Vodka Kick.
The company has refreshed the bottle design of the Kick range, with new-look products hitting the shelves in spring to coincide with the brand's 10th anniversary.
The re-design will feature a new logo to "increase the brand's stand out on shelf", the company said today (12 March).
Global Brands chairman Steve Perez said: "VK needs to stay in touch with changing consumer tastes to ensure that it doesn't look dated, but it's also important that VK drinkers can still identify with the product and so any changes must be judged carefully. The result is a bottle with a more contemporary edge, and a clear and simple design."
The design changes will include the entire VK 275ml range, with 70cl and PET formats following later.
In January, Global Brands signed a three-year listing at The O2 arena in London for the VK Vodka Kick brand.
VK will become the official RTD of The O2 venue, which has a capacity of 20,000 and hosts music, sports and entertainment events.
