US: Glazer’s and Tonore merge in Mississippi

Glazer's Distributors and Tonore Spirits & Wines have announced the integration of their brokerage companies in the state of Mississippi from 1 May.

The deal sees Tonore's president Bob Tonore appointed as president of Glazer's Mississippi and Steve Tonore become VP of Glazer's Mississippi operations.

Glazer's president of Louisiana and Mississippi Scott Rawlings said: "We are excited about our continued expansion into Mississippi, and look forward to integrating the Tonore business and management team into the Glazer's organization. Our collective resources and market knowledge will serve to add strategic value, professional service, and brand-building expertise to our Mississippi customers and vendor partners."

Bob Tonore said: "We are pleased to have the opportunity to be part of the great Glazer's company. Our customers and suppliers will benefit greatly from what we believe is now a powerful team that will effectively service the market."
