BELARUS: Georgian water gets clean bill - report
By just-drinks.com editorial team | 14 June 2006
Belarus will not follow Russia's lead and ban Georgian mineral water, according to press reports.
Citing a source in the Belarus Health Ministry, Prime-Tass said yesterday (13 June) that the country has decided not to impose restrictions on Georgian mineral water imports, having carried out random checks last month.
The country ordered the tests after Russia suspended sales of Borjomi, Nabeglavi and other Georgian mineral waters earlier this year as part of a trade dispute which began with Georgian wine.
