Australian beer and wine giant Foster's Group is actively seeking buyers for a brewery in Sydney.
The company has started the sale process after receiving approval from local government authorities in New South Wales, a spokesman told just-drinks today (13 March).
Foster's found a buyer, Australand Property Group, for the site four years ago but two years later the property company backed out of the deal after agreeing to pay A$203m (US$159.3m) for the site.
Carlton & United Breweries - now the brewing arm of Foster's - bought the brewery in 1982. Foster's ceased operations at the site in 2005.
Sectors: Beer & cider, Wine
Companies: Foster’s, United Breweries
