UK: Former Aspall exec switches to Westons Cider

By | 21 March 2012

Westons Cider has poached an executive from domestic rival Aspall to become its head of sales in the UK.

The privately-owned company, which owns the Stowford Press draft cider brand, confirmed late yesterday (20 March) that Geoff Bradman will move across from Aspall to assume the position. He will be charged with “spearheading further growth” for the Herefordshire-based cider producer in the UK.

“Geoff brings with him 25 years of experience in the drinks trade and a wealth of detailed cider market knowledge,” said Westons' commercial director, Roger Jackson. “He will be crucial in championing our strategy of building collaborative business relationships and delivering some stretching growth objectives.”

Prior to his time with Aspall, Bradman held sales and marketing roles with Holsten UK, First Drinks Brands and HP Bulmer.

Last year, Westons' turnover came in at around GBP42m (US$66.5m).
