Everest Limited has signed an agreement with Pernod Ricard to distribute Georgian wines in Turkey. The Istanbul-based importer said this week that it has secured a four-year agreement with Pernod majority-controlled Georgian Wines and Spirits worth around US$4m.

Speaking to local reporters, Mahmut Sihmanoglu, Everest's general manager, said that the company plans to launch two Georgian wines, Tamada and Old Tbilisi, in the Turkish market next month.

"We will initially launch 100,000 bottles of wine on to the Turkish market," he said.
