POLAND: Earnings continue to rise at Lublin

Polish vodka producer Polmos Lublin posted a 57% increase in first-quarter net profit to PLN2m (US$640,000), on revenues up 45% at PLN30.5m.
The distiller said that EBITDA rose by 9% to nearly PLN4m.
In early January, the distiller boasted of a record-breaking end to the year, with the last three months of 2005 being the best in its history.
