BELGIUM: Duvel slams domestic "eco-tax" levy

Belgian brewer Duvel Moortgat has attacked the country's government for a tax measure that it warned could hit the company's performance this year. The brewer, which owns brands including Duvel and Ommegang, said today (16 March) that the Belgian government's decision to levy an "eco-tax" on recyclable drinks packaging is "baffling".
