DS Waters has snapped up another firm

DS Waters of America has continued on the acquisition trail by buying bottled water delivery firm Splash Water for an undisclosed sum.

Atlanta, Georgia-headquartered DS Waters, which sells bottled drinking water, water filtration and coffee services to homes and offices across the US, confirmed the deal late on Friday (13 December). Splash Water serves customers in the Los Angeles area with spring and purified drinking water in three and five gallon bottles.

Current Splash Water customers will continue to receive their regular bottled water delivery service and will be able to order DS Waters' Sparkletts brand spring or purified drinking water, the companies said.

Tom Harrington, DS Waters' president & CEO, said: “We welcome customers of Splash Water to the DS Waters family and look forward to offering them a wide variety of beverages via our outstanding customer service.”

DS Waters has made a number of acquisitions this year and was itself taken over by private equity group Crestview Partners in September
