US: DS Waters acquires AquaSpring Water Company

DS Waters of America has announced the acquisition of AquaSpring Water Company for an undisclosed sum.

The company said the takeover of the Houston-based firm is part of a move to expand its “regional scope”. AquaSpring customers will be integrated into DS Waters' home and office bottled water delivery busines, DS Waters added.

“We are working to ensure a smooth transition and are incorporating the new routes immediately," said Jim Lewandowski, DS Waters' VP, general manager west central region.

Last month DS Waters announced it had acquired home and office bottled water delivery business Hillcrest Springs.
