US: Drinks Americas adds Willie Nelson to portfolio

Drinks Americas is expanding its business in Ohio, the company said today (2 March).

The US drinks company is adding Willie Nelson's Old Whiskey River Six Year Old Bourbon to its portfolio through Liquor Group Wholesale.

"Liquor Group and our affiliates have been selling special orders and low proof products in Ohio for years…" said Steven Dodge, vice president of control states "…Ohio is consistently one of the top three control states in over-all sales of spirits, we intend to become a major player here just as we are in neighbouring Michigan.

"We plan to add several premium brands in Ohio to build a strong position," said Dodge.

Liquor Group is Drinks Americas National Control State distribution partner.
