US: Drinks Americas adds to board of directors

Drinks Americas Holdings has added a drinks industry veteran to its board of directors.

The company, which develops and markets brands including Trump vodka, said late last week that Hubert Millet has been elected to join the board. Millet has spent over 20 years in the drinks industry, including stints as president of Seagram's brands division and CEO of the Cointreau Group.

"Hubert brings a wealth of expertise and invaluable insight into the development and marketing of beverage brands on a global scale," said Drinks Americas president and CEO J. Patrick Kenny.

A French national, Millet now lives in South Carolina, where he is a board member of leather goods, fashion and perfume company Hermes USA.

Also last week, Drinks Americas secured a product placement with Twisted Pictures, a film company behind Bull Durham, Can't Buy Me Love and the SAW franchise.
