USA: Doug Boyle, Vice President, Non-Carbonated Brands for Pepsi-Cola Company To Speak at InterBev 2000
Mr. Boyle will address bottled water's prevailing market conditions and the prospects for ongoing growth as the bottled water business consolidates and consumers begin to more clearly demonstrate brand preferences. The keynote is scheduled for December 5th, from 9:00 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. All InterBev attendees and exhibitors are welcomed to attend the complimentary event.
Doug Boyle is responsible for the fastest-growing brand, Aquafina -- in the industry's fastest-growing category -- bottled water. Mr. Boyle says the category is "right in the sweet spot" of consumer trends, with people increasingly choosing bottled water because it is healthy, refreshing, convenient and available.
"For over a decade, bottled water has been labeled the fastest growing beverage industry segment," states Howard Friedman, Industry Vice President, REC. "We are very excited to have Doug Boyle share his perspective on the future of bottled water."
Following Boyle's keynote at 9:30 a.m. will be "H2O on the Go: Beverage Segment or New Global Category?," moderated by industry veteran Jonathan Hall, publisher of "The Hall Water Report & Bottled Water News," and Michael Bellas, President, Beverage Marketing Corporation. As bottled water category growth continues to outpace other beverage industry segments, this exciting discussion will focus on future growth and different marketing strategies used by leading companies to win market share.
InterBev is the largest gathering of the beverage industry in 2000, with an expected 650 exhibiting companies and attendees from more than 100 countries.
The all-beverage event will bring together decision-makers from all sectors -- Soft Drink, Beer, Water, Nutraceuticals, Coffee, Tea, Wine, Juice, Milk and Sports/New Age drinks.
