US: DNA Beverage Corp appoints sales VP

DNA Beverage Corp, the US energy drinks group, has promoted Russ Rickon to vice president of national sales.

Rickon, who has been with DNA for less than a year, will be tasked with making the group "a serious contender in the functional drink category", company president Darren Marks said today (5 January).

Rickon replaces John Duva. Details of Duva's departure were not given.

DNA Energy Drink comes in 16oz cans in flavours including Lemon Lime, Citrus and Citrus Sugar Free. It retails for a suggested retail price of US$1.99.
