Diageo has unveiled an updated bottle design for the No. Ten extension of its Tanqueray gin brand.

The change, announced today (19 February), brings the look of the ultra-premium expression closer to that of its Tanqueray sister iteration. Rolling out in the US this month, the new bottle will replace the previous version globally throughout this year.

The revamp comprises ten “facets” that “flow down the green bottle and meet at the base in the shape of a citrus squeezer”, Diageo said. It will continue to feature the Tanqueray scarlet seal and founder Charles Tanqueray’s signature.

“The new bottle reignites a passion for truly sophisticated Martini cocktails”, said Tanqueray's global ambassador, Barrie Wilson. “We are currently seeing a booming desire for classic cocktails and the Martini cocktail in particular, a trend we see continuing to blossom in 2014.”
