Bell's, the UK's top-selling Scotch whisky, is to undergo an image overhaul.

Diageo said today (23 March) that it would launch a redesigned bottle for Bell's in the UK this Spring. The company said it hoped the new look would reinforce the fact that the blended whisky is aged for eight years in oak.

Candice Burton, senior brand manager for Bell's at Diageo Great Britain said: "Bell's blended Scotch whisky is the UK's best-selling whisky and has been for more than 25 years. The new bottle, which puts greater emphasis on the fact Bell's is aged eight years in oak, will make Bell's further standout to consumers on the shelf and behind the bar to drive sales for retailers."
