Diageo and Pernod Ricard announced yesterday that they have determined the adjustments on the final price relating to their joint acquisition of the Seagram drinks business from Vivendi Universal.

Diageo said in a statement: "Diageo's share of these adjustments results in net payments of approximately US$145m."

Pernod Ricard, meanwhile, received a net payment of approximately US$18m. This included the settlement of other subjects linked to the acquisition, particularly the consequences of the trade overstocking for which Pernod Ricard receives US$20m.
