DFV Wines, the California wine company, has signed a deal with Rioja winery Bodegas Baigorri to import Baigorri wines into the US.
Family-owned DFV, which already imports Chateau Maris organic and biodynamic wines from Languedoc in France, will import three Baigorri wines - Crianza ($22), Reserva ($35) and Baigorri De Garage ($60) - to select markets nationwide, the group said today (4 June).
"Rioja is on the rise, and Bodegas Baigorri is a fantastic representation of the region's world class vineyards and modern winemaking practices," said Chris Indelicato, CEO of DFV Wines.
"Baigorri is a progressive, innovative partner, which, at the end of the day, prides itself on quality, and showcasing the excellent fruit that is characteristic of their region."
The DFV Wines' brand portfolio includes Gnarly Head, 337, Irony, Bota Box, Loredona, Twisted, Brazin, Delicato and King Fish.
