Delicato Family Vineyards said yesterday that it had appointed Republic Beverage and Block Distributing as its new distributor for Texas and Louisiana effective immediately. The agreement includes all Delicato Family Vineyards national brands including Monterra, Encore, Delicato Monterey Vine Select, King Fish and Clay Station wines.

"Republic and Block Distributing have a long and enviable reputation in each of the markets they serve," said Chris Indelicato, Delicato CEO. "Their talent at fine wine sales and their size make them a perfect fit for our family-owned winery. Their organisation is well-known for a skilled and motivated sales force which can help us grow our award-winning brands in some of the nation's most competitive markets."
