Delicato Family Vineyards has announced the introduction of Delicato Family Vineyards' 2004 Pinot Grigio. The wine, created from selected vineyards in Northern California, will retail for approximately US$6.99.

The winery has also announced a re-designed label is now appearing on the latest releases of Delicato Family Vineyards wines. In addition to the new Pinot Grigio, the brand includes a vintage dated Shiraz, Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and White Zinfandel. These wines are available nationally and in selected international markets.

"The new label better reflects the quality of wine in the bottle," said Steve Morgan, Delicato vice president of marketing. "While it has many new features, we retained important styling queues."

"The new two-piece design is more contemporary and references the brand's many awards," said John Garaventa, Delicato Family Vineyards brand manager. "It includes an image of Delicato's San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey County, and more white space giving a cleaner, less cluttered look."

The styling of the brand name has also been revised, according to the winery, to give "greater shelf presence."
