Del Monte has launched an adult fruit-based drink aimed at people looking to cut alcohol intake.

Del Monte's Occasions will enter UK supermarkets next month, the company said today (13 December). The ranges comes in Pineapple Mojito, Spicy Tomato, Fruit Cup and Orchard Zest flavours. 

Del Monte said it wants to capitalise on the growing opportunity for non-alcoholic alternatives. Last month, new UK drinks firm Thor Drinks released a range of on-trade-targeted alcohol alternatives.

New Del Monte Occasions range is targeted at the growing  adult juice market

Del Monte®, the leading fruit juice brand, is launching a new range of fruit based drinks targeted at adults in the UK.  Del Monte® Occasions combines popular fruit with the flavour of classic drinks.  The versatile juice range can be served neat with ice or blended with alcohol for easy to mix special drinks. 

As health conscious consumers look to cut down on the amount of alcohol they consume, Del Monte is capitalising on the growing opportunity for non-alcoholic alternatives with a range of versatile, premium fruit drinks that primarily target adults looking for sophisticated flavours.

DelMonte® Occasions is inspired by well-known classics: Pineapple Mojito, Spicy Tomato, Fruit Cup and a new blend named Orchard Zest. The new range is ideal as a premium everyday fruit drink, and suitable for serving at any social occasion.
