US: DC Brands signs Steve Hess as promoter

Energy drink maker DC Brands hopes to open up new business in the sporting world by signing a deal with well-known sports coach and trainer Steve Hess.

Hess, who has high level contacts across the sporting world, has agreed to help promote DC Brands' Hard Nutrition products, the company said today (5 December).

It said that Hess was convinced about DC Brands during a recent visit to the company headquarters, despite initially being "very sceptical and doubting some of the company's claims and the power of their products".

Newly appointed national director of distributor sales, Ashley Coors, is credited with bringing Hess on board.
