Groupe Danone has unveiled a label-free design for its Evian bottled water brand in the US. 

The new bottle features a smaller logo, while "Evian" is carved into its base, the company said today (25 June). The new design for the US will be available in the brand's 500ml size with "additional" formats due in the next 12 months, the group said. 

It follows a bottle re-design for the US market in 2011

"It's a sharp new look, and we can't wait to see it here, there, and everywhere," said Eric O'Toole, president of Danone Waters of North America.
