Crimson Wine Group's Chamisal Vineyards Stainless Pinot Noir

Crimson Wine Group has announced details of a limited release for the 2013 vintage of its Chamisal Vineyards Stainless Pinot Noir. 

The company, which owns "boutique" wineries in California, Washington and Oregon, said the vintage is being released in the US this month, but only 2,300 cases have been produced. It will retail for $24 per bottle. 

The 13.5% abv wine features a mix of grapes from vineyards in northern San Luis Obispo County and Edna Valley, California. 

"This wine's unique flavor profile, which is stylistically reminiscent of a high quality Cru Beaujolais, is appealing to novice wine drinkers as well as savvy connoisseurs," said Erle Martin, Crimson Wine Group's CEO.
