Craft Brew Alliance (CBA) is to start selling its gluten-free Omission beer range in Canada this month.

The lager and pale ale, launched in Oregon last March, will be distributed by AFIC Group, CBA said yesterday (3 January). Omission will be sold in British Columbia intially, before rolling out to other regions in the country.

Omission Beer is brewed by Oregon-based Widmer Brothers Brewing, which formed CBA with Washington state's Redhook Ale Brewery in 2008.

In November, CBA reported disappointing nine-month figures as it boosted spending on building new brands such as Omission.
