FRANCE: Cottin Freres H1 earnings up

French wine producer Cottin Freres has seen first-half profits more than double for the six months to 31 March.
The company, which produces, bottles and markets fine wines from the Burgundy region sold under the Laboure-Roi and Nicolas Potel brands, this week posted operating profit of EUR1.3m (US$1.6m), according to local news reports.
Turnover reached EUR28.6m, up from EUR25.7m the year before.
