US: Constellation to launch Australian wine brand

Constellation Brands is to launch a new Australian wine brand onto the US market through its North Lake Wines. The wine will be called Kelly's Revenge, linking it to the Australian folklore hero Ned Kelly.
 
Kelly's Revenge will come in a three varietals: Shiraz; Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Australia is now the number one importer of wine into the United States, with a 40% market share and an annual growth rate topping 40%.

Bottled in 750 ml and 1.5L formats, Kelly's Revenge launches nationally in May 2005. Suggested retail prices are US$5.99 per 750 ml and US$10.99 per 1.5 litre.
