US: Constellation shareholders re-elect board
The US drinks giant Constellation Brands yesterday saw stockholders at the company's 2004 Annual Stockholders' Meeting vote to re-elected all seven incumbent members to the board of directors for one-year terms.
George Bresler, Jeananne K. Hauswald, James A. Locke III, Thomas C. McDermott, Richard Sands, Robert Sands, and Paul L. Smith, were all re-elected.
Stockholders also ratified the selection of KPMG LLP as the company's independent public accountants for the fiscal year ending February 28, 2005.
Finally, stockholders approved Amendment Number Five to the Company's Long-Term Stock Incentive Plan, which increased by 12m the number of shares of the company's Class A stock available for award under the Plan.
A consortium led by Constellation Brands has made a tentative approach for Allied Domecq....
