FRANCE: Coke hunts non-CSD Euro purchases

Coca-Cola Co. is keeping an eye open for non-carbonated drinks companies in Europe.
Speaking last week at a Deutsche Bank conference in Paris, the president of Coke's operations in the EU said that the drinks giant will continue to increase the size of its non-carbonated soft drinks offering.
"(Coca-Cola will) be focused on non-carbonated beverages, possibly including water," Dominique Reiniche told journalists at the conference.
"Consumers are shifting to noncarbonated beverages and diet beverages, driven by health and wellness concerns," she added.
