The 10-day strike at Philadelphia Coca-Cola Bottling Co.'s factory has ended. Workers at the Teamsters Local 830 have voted to accept a new four-year contract.

Operations at the facility went back into action yesterday, the company said.

Earlier this month, workers at the plant had rejected the company's offer and said that Coca-Cola Bottling had offered inadequate increases in wages and medical and pension benefits. Members of the union also criticised the treatment of employees by management at the company.

The soft drink giant was not immediately available for comment on the matter.
