USA: Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and CollegeLink Partner
"For 12 years the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has awarded merit-based scholarships to college-bound seniors who excel in areas of leadership, academic achievement, motivation to serve and succeed as well as personal character," said Patrick O'Brien, CollegeLink CEO. "These scholarships are rewarding the very characteristics and principles that are the foundation of our Making It Count programs. We are pleased to be able to make available the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation's $2+ million in college scholarships, in addition to the scholarship resources currently available on our site."
In addition to the online component, the partnership also includes promotion of the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarships in Making It Count's 'Making College Count' and 'Making Your College Search Count' in-school presentation programs. Combined, the presentations will reach more than 1.5 million juniors and seniors during the 2000/01 school year.

Mark Davis, President, Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. "The Making It Count programs offered by CollegeLink are geared toward college and life after high school, making our union a perfect match."
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has awarded nearly $18 million to more than 2,000 Scholars between 1989 and 2000. Each year the Foundation awards $20,000 to 50 National Scholars and $4,000 to 200 Regional Scholars. Additionally, beginning this year, the Foundation will award $1,000 to 400 Scholars through the Coca-Cola Two-Year Scholarship Program.
This partnership, combined with the unprecedented reach of its 'Making It Count' programs -- more than 2.5 million students at more than 4,000 high schools alone -- and other Web and national educational relationship initiatives, position CollegeLink to connect more students with more colleges and universities than any other company in the industry.
