Coca-Cola Enterprises has named a new senior vice president for human resources.

The company said today (21 April) that Pamela Kimmet will join the company next month and will oversee "the development and implementation of global human resources initiatives".

Kimmet, who was previously Bear, Stearns & Co.'s senior managing director and head of global human resources, will join the company next month, reporing to CCE's president and CEO, John Brock.

Prior to her time with Bear Stearns, Kimmet held senior roles with both Lucent Technologies and General Motors Corp., the company said.

Brock said: "With more than 25 years of extensive, global human resources leadership experience, Pam has proven herself to be a strategic business partner with a track record of success. I am confident in Pam's ability to lead our global human resources team."

CCE sells approximately 80% of The Coca-Cola Co.'s bottle and can volume in North America and is the licensed bottler for Coca-Cola's products in Belgium, France, the UK, Luxembourg, Monaco, and the Netherlands.
