Coca-Cola North America is to expand its Minute Maid Enhanced juice lines next year with a smaller format.

Minute Maid Pomegranate Blueberry, Minute Maid Pomegranate Lemonade and Minute Maid Strawberry Kiwi will be available in 12oz shrink-wrapped single-serve bottles, the company said today (6 November).

The varieties will be in supermarkets and other retailers from January.

"By launching our most popular varieties of the Minute Maid Enhanced Juice and Juice Drink line in a chilled single-serve, we will continue to meet the needs of health-conscious consumers with a new, convenient package," said Mike Saint John, president Minute Maid business unit.

The launch will be supported with a marketing programme that includes in-store and out-of-store trials.

The Coca-Cola Co entered the fast-growing Chinese dairy drinks market last month with a new product under the Minute Maid brand. Minute Maid Pulpy Super Milky is made with fruit juice, milk powder with whey protein and coconut bits and comes in mango, peach and pineapple flavours. It was developed by the group's innovation centre in Shanghai.
