US: Coca-Cola Co, Nestle team with NBC for Nestea ‘webisodes’

Coca-Cola North America and Nestle are to launch a 'webisode' series for the Nestea brand with the help of NBC Universal Digital Studio.

'Ctrl' (pronounced "control") is a series based on the Sundance short film, "Ctrl Z," which screened at the film festival in 2008, said Coca-Cola North America on Tuesday (2 June).

The ten-webisode series will be distributed this summer across a number of platforms including NBC.com, USANetwork.com, Hulu.com, mobile, Video On Demand (VOD) and gaming consoles. Additionally, a website featuring the 'Ctrl' instalments, branded games, photo galleries and character bios will be available.

Nestea is manufacture by Nestle but the licence is held in parts of North America by a joint venture between Nestle and Coca-Cola Co, named Beverage Partners Worldwide.
