Coca-Cola Chile is expecting soft drinks sales to reach a record level in 2005, according to its general manager.

Rodolfo Echeverría is expecting the company's sales to grow by between 5% and 6% in 2005, in line with the 6% registered in 2003 and 5% registered in 2004.

Coca-Cola Chile's target is to grow sales by around 1% to 2% above the rate of growth of Chile's national GDP.

"We set new records every month last year and so far this year seems to be following the same trend, so we are expecting 2005 to be our best year ever," the general manager said.
