USA: Circle.com to Position Chandon's Sparkling Wine Online in the US
This specific section, expected to launch in late October, promotes an online community for sparkling wine enthusiasts - Chandon Club - by offering exclusive online benefits and product releases via targeted marketing campaigns. Members will have access to entertaining and informative features regularly updated about collecting and investing in wine, tips from the winemaker and online programs including e-mail newsletters, recipe contests and wine purchasing club.
"We asked Circle.com to develop our online presence using a fresh & innovative approach to position Chandon as the leading Sparkling Wine brand," said Jeremy Dahan, Relationship Marketing Director at Chandon Estates. "Circle.com exceeded our expectations with their ability to generate one-to-one marketing programs and e-mail based communication to help us reach our audience more effectively and efficiently. "
"With this project we are able to demonstrate our full-line of service offerings, from strategic consulting to database marketing to graphic design," said Circle.com CEO, Robert T. Wilke. "Chandon asked us to create highly interactive marketing programs," added Wilke. "And delivering measurable results to our clients is what defines Circle.com."
The Circle.com team of experts in San Francisco and Boston will provide e-mail marketing strategy and implementation, database integration and marketing, site design and editorial strategy, and a 'visibility' plan, which includes audience and partner development, SEO and promotional strategy.
The Chandon Club and Private Cellar (wine club) members will have many benefits: access to new products prior to general release, access to products not available through traditional trade outlets, and opportunities to participate in product development in the form of opinion polls. They will also be privy to general information frequently updated about wine and sparkling wine including, how to read a wine bottle label, what to drink and when, building a home wine cellar, and food and drink recipes. In addition, members will be able to subscribe to e-mail programs offering special promotions, take part in interactive programs such as recipe contests, and conduct e-commerce transactions on merchandising and specific wines.
