UK: Chivas launches new Regal 18yr old bottle

Chivas Brothers has launched a new 175ml bottle for its Chivas Regal 18 Year Old brand, the company announced today (13 May).
The new "robust" bottle, in keeping with the brand's positioning as a "modern and opulent presentation of an iconic brand," will offer a premium gifting solution for whisky lovers, the company said in a statement.
The 175cl bottle will be available in all markets at a RRP of USD180.
Brand director for Chivas Regal, Sophie Gallois, said: "Chivas Regal 18 Year Old has long been associated with a luxurious contemporary lifestyle that is relevant to discerning people the world over. They are already purchasers of iconic luxury and designer brands in all other lifestyle areas."
She added: "Our new 175cl bottle is a suitable exterior reflection of the luxurious blend inside the bottle."
The new 175cl bottle is presented in dark brown leatherette packaging enhanced by an elegant dark blue handle and straps with a hint of gold in the buckles and the Chivas Regal 18 Year Old label produced in a "premium" metal finish.
