US: Charmer appoints new CFO for Connecticut Distributors

The Charmer Sunbelt Group has announced the promotion of Chad Stone to vice president finance and CFO of Connecticut Distributors.

Stone immediately moves from his previous position at Charmer, as director of financial projects at its Washington Wholesale unit in DC.

"Chad has demonstrated excellent financial capabilities during his year at Washington Wholesale, and his experience gained there, through his role with the SAP implementation in particular, will be invaluable to our organisation as we move toward making that transition," said Connecticut Distributors president Andrew Hillman yesterday (3 October).

"As Connecticut Distributors has grown over the last 5 years, from a US$70m to a $150m company, there is a need for greater financial structure, and I believe Chad is the best candidate to help lead us in that direction."

Stone has past experience as a financial analyst for The Charmer Sunbelt Group in NYC, and a senior accountant/auditor for Deloitte & Touche.

The Charmer Sunbelt Group, a distributor of wine, spirits, beer, bottled water and other non-alcoholic products, has companies operating in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and The District of Columbia.
