USA: Chalone Wine Estates Announces Appointments of Two New Positions
Simonsson's primary responsibilities will be to develop sales programs and growth strategies for CWE. She will manage four CWE California sales managers and work closely with CWE's California broker, The Henry Wine Group, to implement new programs.
Serving most recently as CWE's export manager and senior sales analyst, Simonsson brings to the position a unique knowledge of global wine market trends and how they relate to sales trends in California. Since joining Chalone Wine Estates, she has doubled export markets to include over 20 countries while also managing national sales budgets, coordinating national sales programs and forecasting sales for the $45 million company.
"With an extensive background in sales forecasting, Eva brings a strategic approach to expanding our California market. With her appointment, we now have a strong team of five sales managers in California, which positions our company for the future and clearly signals our preparation for aggressive growth in the California market," said Farver.
Farver said that Bremgartner, as California Chain Sales Manager, will oversee CWE's off-premise chain accounts in California and will report directly to Simonsson. A native of southern California, she previously served as a chain sales representative for The Henry Wine Group. Prior to joining THWG, she was marketing director for Edna Valley Vineyard in San Luis Obispo, which is a member of the Chalone Wine Group's unique portfolio of estate wineries.
